BTI Construction & Supply (BTI C&S), a US company headquartered in Lanham, Maryland, has chosen to identify and deploy appropriate tested technologies in order to:

Identify building materials and supplies that are appropriate for both industrial and residential construction
Reduce the cost of construction as well as the supply of construction materials
Make the "dream" of quality homeownership in emerging markets more readily achievable
Promote competitive state-of-the-art jobs creation and new Small and Medium Enterprise development in association with the introduction of such "new" technologies
Introduce new designs that are culturally sensitive and reduce the usual costs of long-term maintenance
Accommodate the introduction of energy-efficient, passive solar heating and cooling solutions; as well as "smart-home" solutions that enhance security and expandability of each core structure
Assure a shorter construction life cycle than usually experienced with traditional "stick-built" or modular approaches

In meeting those criteria, BTI C&S offers to the consumer a number of pre-formed manufactured-housing solutions that are cost-effective enough for sale and shipment internationally to emerging markets. All of our houses are manufactured and packed for shipment to various ports, cities and countries throughout the world. BTI C&S is seeking to establish its own manufacturing facility in Prince George's County's recently announced Foreign Trade Zone so that we can benefit both from the designation and its relative close proximity to the Port of Baltimore.

Our mission is to bring practical and economical housing to families in both developed and emerging markets. The results of our effort are what we believe to be the absolute best and most unique housing program available anywhere in the world today. Each of the models offered by BTI C&S is a well planned, functional and energy efficient solution that is not cost-prohibitive. The flexibility of design provides numerous modification options that will allow the buyer a range of efficient alternatives.

Our construction capability is wide ranging. Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) have been used for decades in construction of residential homes, agro businesses, health centers, orphanages, military barracks and manufacturing facilities. BTI C&S is choosing to refine those usual offerings by targeting the provision of solutions for comfortably and securely housing the workforce for international mining, agricultural, and logging corporations as well as accommodating the need for high-end custom housing for senior corporate and governmental management. Such a diversity of offerings begs for the construction of multi-style housing communities -- especially in very remote parts of the world.
